This past week our discussion topic was about managing client emotions — how do you navigate a client’s strong emotions, when does it become “too much,” etc. It was a very productive conversation about the importance of having empathy for our clients and trying to understand the source of their emotional reaction. Also, the importance of knowing when to advocate for oneself and when to walk away from a toxic work relationship.
