Miles was born and raised in Los Angeles. He grew up going to local schools in the Los Angeles area before earning his degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Finance from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

After graduation, Miles took an internship at UBS Westlake Village before starting full time at UBS Downtown Los Angeles. He worked at UBS for 2 years, where he earned the SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 66.

After leaving UBS, Miles joined MAP Strategic Wealth Advisors, an RIA in West Los Angeles, where he spent the next 2 years prior to joining Willner Heller.
