Refresh, Refocus, Recommit. Spring Cleaning for Your Brand!
As we walk into a new season, it’s the perfect time to refresh, refocus, and recommit to the values that drive you and your business forward. If your company champions environmental responsibility, now’s a great moment to showcase that commitment and inspire others in your group. Think of it as a little spring cleaning for your brand. Clear out the old, bring in the new, and set yourself up strong for the next quarter. Let’s keep growing together. Share your story, your impact, and let Echelon cheer you on!
E1 Echelon Elevate B2B Santa Monica had a great meeting last month at Kind Grounds Coffee. They kicked off their meeting with discussing their coffee of choice and when each of them started drinking caffeine. They also talked about what the worst sales pitch they’ve ever gotten was, what were some of the best and worst emails, newsletters, or LinkedIn reach outs they’ve received, what resonates with each of them when starting to build relationships, and finally, they closed out the meeting with their current work situation and their dream networking scenario. Some answers included boats, swimming, pickleball, golf, and simple dinners and drinks. Members at this meeting included Connor Wilhelm, James Edwards, Brandon Firby, Tom Jew, Jordi Pujol, and Randy Miller. Lesson of the day from Tom: Bringing others up does more good than highlighting yourself.
E1 Warner Center discussed what personal or professional goals were completed in 2024, and what’s on tap for 2025. They also shared with each other the scariest thing each of them have done for fun!
E1 Woodland Hills chatted about family ties in business (running a business and owning a business with family members) as well as what family tie brought you to who you are today professionally. Members at this meeting included Roshan Ghaznavi, Mike Landau, Lee Miller, Randy Miller, Randy Snyder, Brad Kraines, Frank Taylor, Kim Millman, David Oberg, and Jerri Hemsworth.
E1 East Valley discussed several topics including:
- Since January 20th with all of the executive orders, how has it affected your business or how do you expect it to affect your business? Good or Bad? What about some of the socioeconomic impacts?
- Legal pause with the Corp Transparency Act.
- Status of Gift Tax.
- DEI – further impact of the teardown of these programs
- Fire – Recovery
- Current Constitutional Crisis
- option for 403B benefit for non-profit businesses.
E1 Agoura/Westlake talked about time management and being more directed, efficient, and balanced.

March’s Wine & Whiskey Tasting: IRISH WHISKEYS
Our March Wine & Whiskey evening was a spirited success that was kicked off with a heartfelt toast from Brian Hemsworth, paired perfectly with a moving Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey ad set to The Parting Glass. Guests enjoyed a rich tasting experience featuring a carefully curated selection of Irish whiskeys, including: Jameson Black Barrel, Kavanagh Irish Whiskey, and O’Neill’s. Great conversations, new connections, and a warm sense of community made it a night to remember!
Join us at our next Wine and Whiskey Tasting in May, where great spirits and wine meet even better networking.
